Deluxe 18W

This is a boutique version all time classic, the legendary Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3 circuit, featuring custom wound traqnsformers and high end componenets to ensure the warmest richest sound quality and reliability. This is one of my all time favourite amps. the clean sound is a detailed and very fat, warm clean tone that's also incredibly airy, but thsi is not a high volume high heaadroom amp. it's acually quite the opposite and as you start to dial in the volume, the bottom end that thickens and begins fuzzing out real fast and if you keep going with the volume, it will really snarl, spit and scream when driven hard.  The unique interactive volume controls of this 2 channel circuit allow boosting and scooping of mids by the volume control of the channel that's not being used play a big part in this amps unique sound. Fantastic recording amp with an amazingly diverse tone palette that will really accentuate the subtleties of playing styles as well as the timber and pick ups of the guitars themselves. When i started playing the first one that i built, i couldn't believe how responsive it was and how it really accentuated the subtleties of the tones of different guitars. This is an essential circuit, and one that Neil Young has been using for years.  You'll find that pretty much every serious guitarist has at least one 5E3 circuit in their collection. If you're serious about guitar tone then you gotta have one of these in your collection. Ash has one of and Matt has a 40W version with 6L6's.  It features highest quality caps, resistors and transformers throughout with point to point wiring and a turret circuit board.
